Timez Attack - Multiplication Computer Game

This is a great computer program for teaching the multiplication tables, especially for boys (although lots of girls enjoy it, too). They have to explore a dungeon like environment (that is designed not to be too scary), and they learn and practice multiplication as they go.

They also have a "Video Tour" for parents, that shows what the program is like, and explains their educational philosophy. The Video Tour is available from the menu bar at the top of their home page.

And the best part is that the "Base" version is free. The Base version is very powerful and very educational on it's own. Later on, you can buy some extra levels to give your child more practice, if you want to, but they will definitely learn lots from the Base version.

Anime Studio is a great 2D animation program. It is used to produce cartoons for TV. We bought the Pro version, but the Standard version is amazing, too. You can download 30 day demos of both versions, and test them first, too.

Brian Tracy has been teaching business people and entrepreneurs for many years. They have many excellent books, audios, and videos. You can sign up for free newsletters at their site. They cover entrepreneurship, financial, management, personal success, sales, and time management.
